EcoShield Cruise 2013 At Night

One of the days at sea we did a Green Night with our company. Some people really dressed up crazy. 

Almost every night all the wives would go dancing at the club. Good work out! Im pretty sure this picture was taken right before or right after we danced our hearts out!

I miss our tans! Ashley and I worked hard for those tans on our day at sea... well 3 days at sea.

I only get to see this girl once a year and that is on the cruises! We used to work together in the office in Chicago.

EcoShield Cruise 2013 First Day and Belize

Our very first picture of our vacation! Leaving the brutal cold weather of Salt Lake to get on a red eye flight to Orlando, Florida.

Ashley and I were feeling pretty gross and sluggish from our red eye flight. We just wanted to shower and change into our swimsuits. Heather looks great tho! Next year we will NOT be taking a red eye. haha

The sun was out for a little bit and of course it wanted to hide when we took this picture. There are a few water slides in the back that you can see. Ryan and I went down them on our day at sea. The other two days at sea were too windy they would not allow anyone on them.

Our second stop (sorry out of order) was to Belize. 

The little boat we got to ride to get into Belize.  On our way back to the cruise ship, we sat at the very top where some seats were wet. That should have been our clue. We got some nice waves splashed into our faces :)

What it looks like when we got off the boat. Theres no beach. To get to a beach you have take a boat there. Or do what we did and go to the man made beach.

The man made beach. More like a lake but it was super fun. We played sand volleyball and the boys tried out that crazy water slide. There was also a rope swing.

 Ashley and I got matching bracelets made out of bamboo seeds from the belize jungle. They are cute!

EcoShield Cruise 2013 The Last Day

Our last day was spent at Nassau. We were supposed to go to Roaton and Costa Maya but due to weather and the large swells we had to spend an extra day at sea and go to the Bahamas instead. I was sad we had to miss Roaton but I had so much fun in the Bahamas. If you go to Nassua you HAVE to do Atlantis. It is totally worth it! SPEND THE MONEY! You will regret it if you don't.  

The weather was a little overcast and at first I was freezing going down all the water slides. But after a 20 min rain storm it cleared up and was beautiful. Atlantis is HUGE. We did not have enough time to see and do it all.

The aquarium was fun to walk through. The guy in the picture of above was HUGE! Probably the size 65 inch TV.

The boys had lots of fun. They raced down some of the slides.

It was a good way to end the cruise. I already miss it.

Updates on the boys

At 7 months Colt started crawling, eating baby food, AND pulling himself up to stand! Way to much growing up for me! Jett didn't start crawling until he was almost 10 months so this was a shocker for us! Colt is just trying to keep up with his big brother. The best part of my day is watching my boys play together. Colt always gets the biggest smile on his face when he sees Jett. For the most part, Jett is very sweet and kind to Colt. We are working on sharing our toys and NOT taking everything away from Colt.
Colt LOVES baby food and cant get enough of it, along with the puffs and num nums. This is another difference between Jett and Colt. Jett was never a fan of baby food and it was such a chore for me to feed him. I get excited to feed colt because its so fun.


Jett sleeps in a big bed now.  Likes to get out of his room every night. Wakes up early to get us out of bed BUT I won't complain because he still takes a a good 2-3 hour nap for me everyday.  Jett likes to talk and loves to have your attention. He's such a happy energetic boy. When ever he asks for things he says please and thank you. His favorite toys right now are cars, his remote control car, and a doctors kit we got him for Christmas. We are trying to cut down on Tv but when I let him watch it he picks Spongebob (yuck) or SuperWhy.

I love how Colt and Jett can play together. Colt is everywhere trying to keep up with Jett. The best part is when Jett talks to Colt and Colt responds back to him.  I feel so blessed to have these two sweet boys in my life. They make everyday eventful and fun. Sometimes I feel tired and exhausted but then I remember what I have and how luck I am and it gives me that extra boost to get through the day.

Christmas in Island Park

We spent Christmas up in Island Park at the nicest cabin ever! It was fun to spend Christmas with family. This year it was my Christmas with my side of the family.

I already gave Jett Christmas pjs earlier in the month so he could wear them all of December, so for Christmas eve he opened up his new blanket! He is still so attached to his blue baby blanket he has had since he was 2 months old. Im hoping maybe this cool looking blanket will replace it!
