Forever my baby

My baby is almost 2 and now that I have Colt, he doesn't seem like a baby at all! Some how, after Colt was born, Jett all of a sudden grew and got really big on us! Seriously! My dad did a good job capturing all the many facial expressions that Jett has.

Jett is the sweetest boy! He is in that terrible two stage but I think all the cute things he does out weighs his tantrums. Although those are NOT fun and it is hard for me to keep patient. Jett is a very happy boy that has so much energy he is literally jumping off the ground and running around non stop.

The other day he opened up the fridge and saw my whole wheat english muffins. He pointed and said "cookie!" Thats right, a whole wheat english muffin is a cookie if that means he will eat it! And he did! My excitement about this situation is because Jett does not eat much normally and is very picky about what he does eat. Bread is usually something Jett won't eat unless its sacrament bread.

Its so fun to see Jetts vocabulary expanding. He is getting so smart.

Baby #2

Im having our baby boy tomorrow! I can't believe this day is finally here! Going in at 5:30am to be induced. Ill try walking tonight to see if I can start things on my own if I'm lucky. Yesterday I was at a 3 and the Doctor stripped my membranes. Last night Ryan and I went to the movies at 10pm while my mom stayed home with Jett. It was nice to get out but oh boy was I having some strong contractions.  Halfway through the movie they calmed down and stopped so nothing exciting happened that night.

Little baby Wilder #2

At my last drs appointment they did the 3D (or is 4D bc thats what it says!) ultrasound and it was SO neat to see our little guy! I never got that with Jett  so this was a surprise to me.  Jett was pretty fascinated too and kept saying "hot" because the screen was in orange so it probably reminded him of fire. Haha.

Everything looks good and he is 6lbs 6 oz right now.  I put all the ultrasound pics on my fridge and love to stare at them! I remember right before I had Jett I would tell myself how crazy it is that I was going to become a mom! Now I am having the same feelings again but this time it is about being a mom of two! So excited and nervous at the same time.  Im trying to enjoy every day with Jett before he is no longer the only child.  By doing this, its actually helped me be more patient about when this baby comes although I am ready to be done being pregnant and uncomfortable. Im bored of the same questions strangers ask all the time and getting the annoying responses back about looking "ready" and big.

  I got a really nice comment from this girl the other day that made me feel AWESOME!  My cousin and I were walking back from target (we do this almost every day bc its close to our apartments) and this girl probably my age  says "excuse me" and at first I totally wanted to ignore her because I wasn't sure if she was going to say something nice or mean but I looked her way and stopped walking and she said "You look great for being pregnant like you obviously work out. What do you do?" Now THAT is what every pregnant women wants to hear!!! Totally made my day!

I still can't believe this baby is going to be here soon. They will induce me the end of this month as long as I'm progressing and dilated.  Wish she would have checked me at my appointment since I was a little over 37 weeks but I guess next week at 38.5 weeks Ill know if my body is getting ready or not!

Love Saturday Nights

Saturday nights mean so much more in the summer! Thats because Friday is NOT Friday and Saturday is the only day where ryan gets off (besides sunday)around 5 and we can go out and do something!  I look forward to Saturday night every week. Saturday nights and Sundays are the best days of the week. 

These pictures are at the outlets that are pretty close to our apartments. It was a perfect evening to walk around and enjoy shopping :)
